About Rebecca Turner

Rebecca Turner, LMFT BCN earned her Masters of Science degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA with a concentration in Medical Family Therapy. Rebecca’s undergraduate work focused on English Literature, Psychology, and Sociology. She holds certification in Child-Parent Psychotherapy, a model to assess, treat, and support those whose minds and bodies have developed in the context of chronic stressors and early developmental trauma. Rebecca’s clinical work and training paradigm center on the psychophysiological approach to understanding and treating stress, trauma, anxiety, sensory and emotional sensitivities, chronic illness, and pain. Rebecca also has extensive experience in group psychotherapeutic treatment for children, teens, and adults and has created the Thrive: Living Beyond Anxiety and Connect: A Group for People Managing Chronic Pain and Illness psychotherapy groups at Dr. Kate Truitt & Associates.

As Director of Program Development and a Trainer for the Truitt Institute, Rebecca brings a creative, engaging, collaborative style to learning and innovation as we bring the fascinating insights and practical applications of neuroscience and psychophysiology to everyone. As the head of the professional Certification Program, Rebecca creates a hands-on approach to training that extends far after initial training connections to guide the deeper process of integrating these tools and techniques into each clinician’s individual practice.

In addition to her Trainer and Director roles, Rebecca is the head of Dr. Kate Truitt & Associates’ Neurofeedback Program and is Board Certified in Neurofeedback through the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA), a HeartMathä Certified Practitioner, Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional, and a Certified Havening Techniques Practitioner.
